Erika Lippert has been selected as Georgetown County Telecommunications employee of the quarter.
“Her job performance stood out during the quarter,” said Major T.L. Staub, director of communications for the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office. “Erika is an experienced communications officer who works with a positive attitude and does a professional job.”
Lippert’s selection was announced in conjunction with national Public Safety Telecommunicators Week — April 8-14.
Managed by the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office, Central Dispatch on Highmarket Street in Georgetown receives requests for police, fire or emergency medical services and dispatches help from nine organizations: the sheriff’s office, police in Georgetown, Andrews and Pawleys Island and fire and EMS units in Georgetown city and county, Andrews, Midway Fire and Rescue, and Murrells Inlet-Garden City Fire and Rescue.
